Man charged after fleeing police on snowmobile

The Estevan Police Service reported that a man has been arrested after fleeing from police on a snowmobile near the Shell gas station.

Police attempted to stop the man after he was spotted crossing Perkins onto the parking lot of the Shell without a helmet.

The man fled, but police were able to identify him. They contacted the man and asked him to turn himself in, which he did on Sunday morning.

He's been charged with failing to stop for police, and will appear in court in late March.
