Opening Night

The talking is over and it's now time to see for the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins to hit the ice and begin the 2010-11 season.

The Bruins will hit the ice in Melville to take on the Millionaires beginning at 7:30. Tonight's game will be broadcasted on Access TV.

Tonight's game will mark the first time some players in a Bruins jersey. Captain Troy Hunter, Goaltender Joel Danyluk, and Ben Findlay are  some of the new faces in the Bruins lineup.

With the addition of the 3 Royal Bank participants along with the return of a solid core, many have pegged the Bruins to be among the favorites in the Sherwood Conference.

The Bruins open up with 5 straight divisional games as they will take on the Melville 3 times and the Notre Dame Hounds two times.

The Bruins open the last season inside of the Civic Auditorium on Saturday night when they host the Millionaires in a rematch, opening faceoff is 7:30.
