Around 175 customers were without power midday Tuesday, as a result of a tree on a power line.

SaskPower Spokesperson Joel Cherry said the outage lasted from around 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Cherry said they don't know what caused the tree to wind up on a line.

Several people reported outages around the southern part of Estevan on Tuesday.

SaskPower has not reported any planned or unplanned outages for the area, as of 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Crown utility has been reached out to regarding the reported outages.

One Facebook user said they were missing power in the Skyview Pointe modular home park, another said the power was out in the Humane Society area. Someone also said the power was out southeast of Estevan.
