The Revers Rockets and Bienfait Coalers opened up the second round of Big Six playoffs last night out east in Redvers in front of a packed house.

The Rockets were coming off of a 3-0 sweep of the Arcola/Kisbey Combines in round one, while Bienfait knocked off Carlyle in four meetings.

Redvers came out of the gates flying, potting four goals in five minutes in the opening frame with Bienfait scoring once amoungst the assault. 

In the second period, the Rockets extended their lead to 7-2 with the Coalers again scoring once amoungst a light show from the home squad.

Redvers would add another early in the third to make it 8-2.

After increasing their lead to six in the final frame, Redvers seemed to let off the gas and Bienfait added three goals before the end of regulation.

Final score, Rockets 8, Coalers 5.

The two teams will meet once again on Thursday.
