Update: SaskPower tweeted at 10:01 p.m. that repairs were completed and power restored for Estevan, Macoun, Hitchcock, and the surrounding rural area.

Multiple residences in the southern part of Estevan reported losing power around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Much of the southern part of the city was without power as of 7:30 p.m.

Traffic lights at several intersections in the area were out as well. 

The report-outages function on SaskPower’s website said they have been informed of the outage. 

There is no word from SaskPower as of 7:19 p.m. regarding how widespread the outage is, what caused it, or when it will be resolved.
