For the third-consecutive morning, a fog advisory is in effect in southeastern Saskatchewan.

One semi driver who travelled from Regina to Estevan early Friday morning said visibility was "brutal" on the highways.

Some early-morning snowfall also contributed to challenges on the roads. The province's Highway Hotline cited reduced visibility on highways in the Estevan area at 5 a.m., along with loose snow. Swirling snow was reported along with fog past Yellow Grass on Highway 39.

Environment Canada predicted that the fog should lift later in the morning.
