 Tryouts and preparations continue for a couple of the local baseball teams.

The Bantam AAA baseball team will hold a their final tryouts, starting with tonight. The Bantams will hold a practice at Luscar Park beginning at 5:00.

Then tomorrow they will hold their final practice once again at Luscar Park at 2:00. After tomorrow's tryout the coaches of the Bantam team will pick their team.

Then Sunday the AAA baseball team will hold their first official practice  at 2:00 at Luscar Park which will be followed by a parents meeting.

The Bantam AAA team will begin their season next Saturday at home against Yorkton.


The Peewees will hold their second tryout tonight at the Civic Auditorium at 6:00. After tonight's practice the peewees are hopeful to be able to move their tryouts outdoors next week.

The peewee AA season will not begin until the second week of May as they do not have a finalized schedule yet.
