It was a busy day on Sunday for several teams in the Saskota Baseball League with 5 games scheduled, and some clubs playing more than one game.

The Estevan Tap House Wolves took on the Windthorst Pirates, giving them a solid 9-2 drubbing while the Kipling Royals got an 8-6 win over the Southeast Fireballs. The latter was quickly back on the diamond against the freshly defeated Pirates, who was handed their second loss of the day, though this time only 5-4. Then the Wolves and Royals squared off, with the former somehow managing to duplicate their exact score from several hours ago, 9-2 over Kipling. This places Estevan in the first place spot in the standings.

The fifth game consisted of a clash with the Arcola Threshers and Carlyle Cardinals, however, no score has yet been reported.

The Saskota action resumes on Tuesday, June 12th with four games. The Kenosee Cubs face off against the Threshers in Arcola while the Carlyle Cardinals visit the Oxbow Chiefs, and the Carnduff Astros play the Southeast Fireballs in Estevan as the Redvers A's host the Windthorst Pirates.
