They battled their hearts out on the court, and after giving it their all, settled for silver and the prestige of being the runner up provincial champions.

The ECS Elecs Senior Girls, after their win in Estevan over Melville, headed to Prince Albert this weekend to participate in the 2018 HOOPLA basketball provincial championships. Friday evening saw them take down Moose Jaw Peacock 65-61, giving them a spot in the 4A final on Saturday evening against Melfort.

However, despite their efforts they weren't quite able to overcome them, and will bring home a silver medal after some stellar play in the 60-56 loss.
