It was a tough road swing over the weekend for the Estevan Peewee Tornadoes, returning home without a win but with lessons learned.

Dropping a doubleheader with the Millionaires in Melville 15-11 and 14-1, they then fell 17-5 and 10-0 to the White Sox in Regina.

"We had a little bit of a tough go on the field on Saturday, just too many errors. Bats were working really, really well for the first game, it was just too many errors in the field that put us down in game 1," stated Head Coach Ryan Siever.

"In game two, we ran into a pretty decent pitcher and just struggled putting a few hits together. We, again, had trouble in the field making plays. But, overall, Saturday was a good learning experience for the boys. They realized a few different little things that are going to help us going forward."

The Tornadoes are back in action on Saturday, June 23rd, where they take on the 57's in Swift Current.
