One night after their hometown senior hockey team swept the Carnduff Red Devils to win their first ever Big Six Hockey League Championship, the Midget Redvers Rockets followed up with a title of their own in the Saskatchewan Hockey Associations Midget 'D' Provincial Championship.

The Rockets got off to a great start in game one of their opening round match up against Lanigan, taking a 6-3 win on home ice. Redvers would complete the total point series win in Lanigan during game two with a close 3-2 victory, to grab the first round total point series, 9-5.

Going up against Davidson in the provincial semi-final would see the two clubs trade goals back and forth throughout their two games. Redvers continued to stay hot on home ice in game one, where they would win a 7-6 nail-biter. Redvers would respond on the road in game two and win 9-4, to move into the provincial final against Edam.

The Rockets offense was firing on all cylinders in game one of the provincial final at home, beating Edam 10-3. Despite falling 1-0 to their opponents on the road in game two, Redvers would capture the SHA Midget 'D' Provincial Championship with their 10-4 total point series win.
