In what will go down as the craziest finish in the season, the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins come from behind to beat the Kindersley Klippers 5-4.

The Bruins were trailing 2-0 but came alive in the second, Ty Ariss would make a turnover at the Klippers blueline and would skate in and buried a shot past Klippers goalie Dustin Nickel to make it 2-1. Then the Bruins powerplay went to work, first Justin Waskewitch made a pretty pass to Dylan Smith who scored to tie the game up at 2-2. Still on the powerplay the Bruins would get the lead as Joel Kot scored from the point to make it 3-2 for the Bruins.

In the third the Bruins would add to their lead as Ariss scored his second of the game from the point to make the score 4-2. But the Klippers would battle back with a pair of goals to tie it up.

That would set up the stage for the crazy finish, as Ben Findlay got inside the blueline fired a shot that bounced off the back wall and went off Nickel’s skate and in net, just as the buzzer expired to give the Bruins the win and 2 big points.
