The City of Estevan will be doing some spring cleaning in May.

Operation clean sweep which is set to take place on May 13th until May 20th is an initiative to give residents the opportunity to do some spring cleaning without the need to take the refuse to the landfill as well as give the opportunity for a free landfill weekend.

"We want our city to look great; not only for residents of Estevan but visitors that come to our city," said Norm Mac, Roads and Drainage Manager. "commercial properties will not be included."  Mac goes on to say that while commercial properties may not be included they encourage all commercial properties to participate in the clean sweep effort.
