The 35th annual Saskatchewan Country Music Awards (SCMA) are happening this weekend in Lloydminster and the entire province is abuzz!

Saskatchewan country music fans are on the edge to see who will be getting the coveted award. Southeast artists and personalities are leading the pack, with 11 nominees in ten categories.

  • Video of the Year
  • Fans' Choice
  • Interactive Artist of the Year

Dan Cugnet

  • Emerging Artist of the Year
  • 2x Alternative Country Album of the Year

Chris Henderson

  • Male Artist of the Year

Teagan Littlechief

  • Indigenous Artist of the Year

Karissa Hoffart

  • Female Artist of the Year

Tenille Arts

  • Single of the Year

Courtney Fielder

  • Music Director of the Year
  • On-Air Personality of the Year

Estevan's Country 106.1 and Weyburn's Country 106.7 were both also nominated for Radio Station of the Year - Secondary Market. 

The Red Carpet event kicks off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, with the Awards Gala getting underway at 7:30 p.m. You can watch on AccessNow TV, or stream the awards on YouTube here.
